FUNDED PROJECTS

Accessible counselling for the whole community

This page is regularly updated with news of the current funded projects we are able to offer in the community. This year we have secured funding from the big lottery to support new mum's.

CONFIDENCE COUNSELLING FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AGE 10-18 YEARS

A funded project to support children and young people who experience low self-esteem and confidence.

This is me confidence counselling project is providing FREE counselling sessions targeted at young people who may have experienced bullying, or who have had struggles within family relationships, illness, disability, or abuse, which has lead to them having low self-esteem and confidence

If low self-esteem and confidence is effecting you or someone you know then confidence counselling sessions could help.

Low self-esteem and confidence can make young people feel that:

  • they're a bad person

  • No one loves them

  • They are not good at anything

  • When good things happen to them, it's just luck

  • Wish they weren't so average

  • Feel that they are a failure

  • Feel that bad things always happen to them

This is Me Counselling and Psychotherapy is a non-profit organization providing accessible counselling in the community.

We are passionate about early intervention for young people, supporting their emotional health to prevent mental health concerns getting worse.

One to one counselling sessions will provide a welcoming, non-judgemental space. Through the process of talking to another many young people find they feel happier and more confident. Sessions will be provided outside of school hours.

Funded places are limited and allocated on a first come first serve basis.
